“The Tlingit Lákt (Bentwood Box) was our storage container. It was traded up and down the Northwest coast. The interpretation of the Lákt design was left open to the owner.”

Art Cards are printed on recycled paper measuring approximately 9 x 6” (22.5 x 15.24 cm). The inside is blank and it comes with an envelope. Description of the artwork and artist’s biography are printed on the back.

Conçu par l'artiste James Johnson du clan Tlingit Ch'áak' Dakl'aweidi.

"La Tlingit Lákt (boîte en bois courbé) était autrefois un contenant d'entreposage; elle faisait l'objet d'échanges tout le long de la côte du Nord-Ouest. Les motifs qui ornent la lákt sont libres à l'interprétation de son propriétaire."

Les cartes d'art sont imprimées sur du papier recyclé mesurant environ 9 x 6” (22.5 x 15.24 cm). L'intérieur est vierge et une enveloppe est fournie. La description de l'œuvre et la biographie de l'artiste figurent au verso.
