Frequently Asked Questions

What are “Canadian Socks”?

While the term “Canadian Socks” is often used to describe any socks with a Canadian motif, whether featuring a maple leaf or a red band at the top, to us it refers to any socks Made in Canada. All of the socks we sell are manufactured in Toronto by J.B. Fields. J.B. Fields was founded in 1877 to produce socks for use in the logging industry, including those intended for −50 °C weather. As such, we consider socks made by J.B. Fields to be the most Canadian socks available.

I don’t like this style of socks. Do you have anything else?

In order to introduce Canadian Socks to the European market, we decided to start with the most classical Canadian style, the boot/work sock, often known as Cabin, Lumberjack or Camp Socks. If you are looking for the same Made in Canada quality in different colours or styles, let us know, and we will try our very best to get them to you!

How should I care for my socks?

To ensure the maximum lifespan, we recommend that you wash your socks inside out in warm water, then dry them on low heat. Bleaching, ironing or dry cleaning can damage the socks.

How soon will my socks arrive?

Transit times can be difficult to predict. At checkout, the available shipping options will indicate the expected delivery time. If you would like to take advantage of a different shipping option, please get in touch with us!
